Sandalwood is a category of woods from trees in the genus Santalum. Sandal wood is heavy, yellow, and fine-grained, with a lingering soft fragrance. Sandalwood oil is extracted from the Sandalwood by distillation. Sandalwood is a pricy wood. Its mainly found in South of India in Mysore Forest, other countries too have sandalwood.
